In honor of the upcoming National Park Week (our favorite week of the year), April 15-23, we are once again hosting a #FindYourPark Photo Challenge on Twitter! In addition, we plan to extend it to Instagram, and encourage anyone over there to post in both places. Our goal is to get Americans fired up about visiting the National Parks (and other NPS sites) during their FEE FREE weekends, April 14-15 and 22-23. As usual, this week will have a theme: Off the Beaten Path. Now that doesn’t mean you can’t use some of the most visited parks, but I know some of you have some amazing backcountry photos from those places that will fit into the daily themes!

Watch every morning for the opening tweet, then be sure to tag us, #FindYourPark, and #ParkChat in your reply!

Without further ado, here are the daily themes for next week:

  • Monday (April 10): Hiking UP
  • Tuesday: At the Water
  • Wednesday: Underground
  • Thursday: Wide Open Spaces
  • Friday: Extreme Challenges
  • Saturday: Wildlife Peeking
  • Sunday: Best Trail Ever

After the last day, we encourage you to keep posting during #NationalParkWeek, to flood the feeds with the sights of our National Park Service units! If you have any questions find us on Twitter, IG, FB, or email us here.
